The Spark
Age 8. His father takes him to a rental kart track for a test. He climbs out only to climb back in. He never wants to stop driving.
The Rookie Rule
In Sweden, debutants must start every race from the back. In his first four races as a licensed driver he gains +3, +11, +18 and +14 positions. The grid takes notice.
National Domination
A full season in Junior 60. Eleven races. Seven poles. Seven wins — many of them by five or six seconds. MKR Junior 60 Champion. Axamo Open P3.
The Breakthrough
Aged eleven, Kevin becomes the youngest Swedish OK Junior Champion in history. The same season he wins the SKCC overall title as a senior-kart rookie — and pulls off a perfect Junior 125 weekend at Axamo.
Vinnarskalle — The Winner's Mind
He is at his best when everything goes wrong. SKCC: a penalty drops him dead last. Across the heats he carves from P35 to P7. Genk: penalised back to P8, he fights to the podium on the final lap. Where others survive, he attacks.
On the European Stage
After entering the world stage the previous season, Kevin lines up against the best junior drivers in Europe — carrying Swedish colours into Champions of the Future and the WSK calendar.
Same country. Same modest start. Same belief. "If he can, I can."
